    Employment
On Campus Employment –
International students in full-time studies are permitted to work on-campus without a work permit if they are engaged in full-time studies at a university, community college, CEGEP, publicly funded trade/technical school or at a private institution authorized by provincial statute to confer degrees.

Co-op Work Permit –
International students are permitted to work off-campus if it is an integral part of the study program, such as a co-op program. The work component must be less than 50 percent of the total length of the program, and must be directly related to your program. There is no charge for this type of work permit.

Off Campus Work Permit –
Full-time international students at certain public post-secondary institutions in Manitoba, New Brunswick or some regions of Quebec may be eligible to apply for a work permit that allows you to work off-campus. This will help students gain Canadian work experience. The work permit will allow students to work for a limited number of hours off-campus. Each province has different conditions.

Post Graduate Work Permit –
International students graduating from a program of 2 years or more in length would be eligible for a 1 or 2 year work permit after graduation depending on the location of study and employment.
They could also apply for and skilled migration visa, if eligible, and this could later lead to permanent residency.
